Yes, every word is counted, which is why function words usually top the list. Look past the first few rows to find the content words that reveal your actual repetition habits.
Does it distinguish uppercase from lowercase?
No. Text is lowercased before counting, so "The" and "the" are treated as the same word. Punctuation is stripped too, so "word." and "word" are counted together.
What is a good keyword density for SEO?
There is no target number that search engines reward, and stuffing a keyword to hit a percentage does more harm than good. Use this table to confirm your main phrase appears naturally a few times, and to catch any word you have repeated so often that it reads as spam.
How are Korean words counted?
Words are split on spaces, so a noun plus its attached particle — 글자를 versus 글자가 — counts as two different entries. To measure the stem alone you would need morphological analysis, which this tool does not perform.
